Practical Design Exploration Project: Ideation Stage

For Assignment 02, the task was to submit a practical project that would underpin an understanding of design exploration of my choice. The practical project must investigate disciplines such as: Visual Communication (Graphics Design, Typography, Illustration), Digital Design, Experience Design, Product Design, 3D Design, Interior and Environmental Architecture.
Our instructor, Michelle Douglas, suggested that we all begin ideating and discussing with our peers as soon as possible in order to quickly hone in the best possible (and feasible) topic.
Here were some my initial concepts:

City Branding (Less developed Australian city) / Branding a Local Community
Brief
Develop a brand identity for a less economically developed Australian city OR a local community.
Background
In recent years, city branding has become a global trend:
“Therefore it can be argued that cities in order to be successful as brands they first need to establish both practical and an emotional link with its inhabitants, visitors, and investors. This link should create a close fit between the people’s physical needs and psychological desires and the city’s functional attributes and symbolic values.”
Smaller cities can help decongest the big ones:
Strategy
Use an interdisciplinary approach / use analogous inspiration
Research the chose location
View the exemplars (what bits can I use, what can I build on, how can I make it even better?)
Introduce new media/tools as part of the campaign/collaterals
Output
A0 poster or series of posters OR printed/on-screen branding collaterals

Changing Bats’ Bad Reputation
Brief
How can I help change people’s behavior towards bats in an Australian context?
Background
For centuries people have viewed bats negatively but in truth, we benefit quite a lot from them:

Pick an organization to team up with (Bats QLD)
View the exemplars (what bits can I use, what can I build on, how can I make it even better?)
Develop a social marketing campaign that I can propose to Bats QLD

Self-Branding: Developing a competitive personal brand identity for the Australian Creative Industry
Brief
How can I re-think/re-do my personal branding to better suit the Australian market?
Background
For a graphic designer, brand image is everything, more so personal branding:
